PvP Combat
==========

Player versus Player combat is possible but significantly harder
than fighting monsters. All mortals possess an innate Primal Focus
that protects them from the full force of attacks by other players.

Primal Focus
------------
All damage dealt to players by other players is reduced:

* Base reduction: 50%
* Insight bonus: +1% per 5 insight (up to 40% at 200 insight)
* Maximum reduction: 90%

This means even the most powerful attacks will deal at least 10%
of their normal damage against high-insight targets.

Example Reductions
------------------
  0 insight:   50% reduction (take half damage)
  50 insight:  60% reduction
  100 insight: 70% reduction
  150 insight: 80% reduction
  200 insight: 90% reduction (take only 10% damage)

The Insight Stat
----------------
Insight represents your character's mental acuity and awareness.
It strengthens your Primal Focus against other players, making it
valuable for those who venture into dangerous social situations.

See your current protection with the 'aff' or 'effects' command.
